“We had been thinking about renewing our wedding vows for some time and, when we saw that there was an opportunity to do so at the Between The Trees Festival, contacted Deborah to enquire further. The idea of having a ceremony performed at the festival by a practising Welsh Druid Celebrant really appealed to us. We held a Zoom meeting with Deborah where we shared details of our lives together and these were woven into a beautiful ceremony, which was both personal and very emotional. On the day of the ceremony we were surrounded by the woodland, in which Y Noddfa stands, and the elements combined to provide us with the most wonderful renewal of vows service – very different to our original wedding but perfect for this stage of our life together, Deborah was both personable and thorough in the preparation of the ceremony and in its delivery, which flowed very naturally, and she clearly had a good understanding of us and our wishes. In the short time that we knew Deborah we both came to like her very much and look forward to catching up with her again at next year’s festival. Thanks to Deborah, we have made some more wonderful memories of our shared life.”

“We chose to handfast at the festival Between The Trees on a bit of an impulse when we saw it available in the programme, and just a few weeks before the festival started. Deb quickly sent us a short questionnaire and set up an online meeting to discuss the ceremony and answer any questions we might have. Almost immediately she put us at our ease on the call as she introduced herself and talked us through everything in such a friendly and easy manner, whilst listening to our story - of how we met, our families and friends and what we enjoyed doing together and all sorts of other things, quietly taking note of what we said….and before we knew it, within a week or so, she had seemingly effortlessly (I know it wasn’t without effort on Deb’s part!) woven almost everything into all aspects of the ceremony in a light-hearted but warm manner, whilst also demonstrating reverence to the tradition and to our own stories. We met in person at the festival prior to the handfasting and, on the day, Deb conducted the ceremony perfectly as she went through everything she had talked us through previously – the tears, the smiles and the looks of happiness and enjoyment on our faces in the photographs only go to prove it. We would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending Deb for any of your (or our own future) celebrant needs - she listens, she responds and she delivers beautifully crafted ceremonies.
